Christopher Enrique Carantit

Christopher Enrique Carantit is a Western Mass resident born and raised. He is named for his Uncle Christopher who died tragically as a toddler, and his middle name comes from his great grandfather who was of Filipino decent.

Christopher has been a writer in many different forms all his life from writing short stories in school to writing poems and songs in his spare time; although it was only in his early twenties that he realized he wanted to write as a career whilst he took classes at Greenfield Community College working toward his Associates Degree.

In the last several years, Christopher has been practicing and performing a handful of his original songs and a select few covers to small crowds in several locations around his hometown - most notable of which being the Bone Frog Challenge in the fall of 2013, held at Berkshire East Ski Resort in Charlemont, Ma.

It wasn’t until Tyler Geis - a close friend that Christopher had made while first attending GCC - was making his first film, that Christopher had got into the filmmaking business. "The Station", both written and directed by Tyler Geis, was the first time Christopher had stepped onto a film set and it was the first time he had figured out what he wanted to apply his writing to. After having worked as the Music Supervisor on "The Station", Christopher started developing short story ideas with both his old high school friend, David Shattuck, and Tyler Geis.
